The Forastera white wine is an elegant expression of Ischia’s winemaking tradition, produced in the scenic Grotta di Terra area, located at around 200 meters above sea level in the municipality of Ischia. This wine reflects the richness of the territory, enhancing its aromas and flavors.
Composed of 85% Forastera grapes and 15% local varieties such as Rilla, Coglionara and Caca Mosca, Forastera is vinified in white with strict temperature control during fermentation, ensuring freshness and excellent aromatic quality.
With its pale straw-yellow color, this wine stands out for its vinous aroma with herbal notes. On the palate, it is fresh, mineral and pleasantly savory. A versatile white wine, perfect for seafood dishes and aperitifs.
Ideal with octopus soppressata salad, sautéed shellfish or as an aperitif. Best served at 8–10°C to fully appreciate its qualities. Alcohol content: 12% vol.
