A refined rosé wine with an authentic character, produced in the scenic areas of Cartaromana and San Michele, at altitudes between 200 and 400 meters on the Island of Ischia.
The Alema Rosé is an elegant rosé wine produced in the charming areas of Cartaromana and San Michele, in the municipality of Ischia. The vineyards, located between 200 and 400 meters above sea level, benefit from a unique microclimate that gives this wine its distinctive character.
Made from a blend of Guarnaccia and Piedirosso grapes, Alema Rosé follows a red vinification process with skin maceration for 3–4 days, enhancing both color and aromatic intensity. Fermentation is carried out at controlled temperatures to preserve the freshness and fruity notes of the grapes. The wine is aged for 4 months in stainless steel and then for a further 60 days in bottle, ensuring a high-quality product ready for release.
Alema Rosé shows a ruby color that can vary in intensity and offers a vinous aroma with notes of freshly picked red fruit. On the palate, it is dry, with well-balanced tannins and an overall harmony that makes it suitable for a wide range of food pairings.
Perfect with red meat dishes and traditional Ischia-style rabbit, it is best served at 15–17°C to fully appreciate its qualities. Alcohol content: 12% vol.
