An authentic and traditional red wine, made from Piedirosso grapes grown in the unique terroirs of Ischia and Barano d’Ischia, at altitudes between 300 and 500 meters.
The Per’e Palummo is a red wine with an authentic character, produced in the territories of Ischia and Barano d’Ischia, with vineyards located in the scenic areas of Grotta di Terra and Monte Barano, at altitudes between 300 and 500 meters above sea level.
Made exclusively from Piedirosso grapes, a variety typical of the Campania region, this wine follows a red vinification process with skin maceration for 3–5 days. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures to preserve the freshness and natural aromas of the grapes. Aging in stainless steel for five months completes the process, enhancing the varietal characteristics of Piedirosso.
Per’e Palummo presents an intense ruby red color and a distinctive violet aroma. On the palate, it is dry, with well-balanced tannins that make it a versatile and enjoyable wine for a wide range of food pairings.
Perfect with bucatini with rabbit cacciatore, game or aged cheeses, it expresses its best qualities when served at a temperature of 16–18°C. Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.
