An intense and enveloping red wine, made from a selection of grapes by Cantine Antonio Mazzella, the result of a late harvest with overripe grapes.
The Nero 70 by Cantine Antonio Mazzella is a red wine of remarkable intensity and character, made from a selected blend of grapes and obtained through a late harvest with overripe grapes, carried out during the second week of November. This process allows the grapes to develop complex aromas and a rich structure.
The production involves controlled maceration for about 20 days, ensuring maximum extraction of aromas and flavors from the skins. The wine is then aged for approximately one year in three different types of new oak, adding depth and complexity to the final product.
Nero 70 presents a deep, intense red color. On the nose, it reveals a very intense bouquet dominated by ripe red fruit notes, enhanced by subtle spicy hints. On the palate, it is full-bodied and persistent, with remarkable smoothness and a strong character, making it ideal for rich and flavorful dishes.
This wine pairs beautifully with red meats, game and aged cheeses. Best served at a temperature of 16–18°C to fully appreciate its qualities. Alcohol content: 14.5% vol.
