The Cala di Terra Nera is a red wine that expresses the tradition and beauty of the southern side of the Island of Ischia. Produced in the picturesque area of Piano Liguori and Ca’ Mormile, in Campagnano Alta, the vineyards are located at altitudes between 400 and 500 meters above sea level, benefiting from an ideal climate for growing high-quality grapes.
Made from Guarnaccia and Piedirosso grapes, Cala di Terra Nera follows a red vinification process with skin maceration for 2–4 days, allowing optimal extraction of aromas and color. This wine presents an intense purple-red color and a delicate aroma of red fruits. On the palate, it offers a dry taste with well-balanced tannins, making it pleasant and versatile in food pairings.
Perfect for aperitifs and light dishes, Cala di Terra Nera is best served at a temperature of 12–14°C. Alcohol content: 12% vol.
