A harmonious and luminous white wine that captures the essence of the island in a perfect balance of freshness and minerality.
The Ischia Bianco DOC by Viticoltori Colella Giosuè is born from a harmonious blend of the island’s historic grape varieties, Biancolella and Forastera, grown on sunlit terraces in the municipalities of Forio and Lacco Ameno. The altitude and exposure give the grapes unique characteristics, enhanced by a winemaking process designed to preserve their natural freshness.
The harvest, carried out between late August and early September, is followed by gentle pressing and cold clarification. Fermentation at controlled temperature lasts about 30 days, maintaining the integrity of the varietal aromas.
In the glass, it reveals a straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it offers typical grape aromas with notes of green apple and banana. The taste is dry, slightly saline and highly enjoyable. Excellent both as an aperitif and throughout the meal, it pairs beautifully with seafood, fish and light white meats.
