A refined and vibrant white wine that elegantly expresses the marine and volcanic character of the Island of Ischia.
The Biancolella DOC by Viticoltori Colella Giosuè is born on the sunlit terraces of Cimmentorosso, in the municipality of Forio, where the gently sloping terrain and south-west exposure create ideal conditions for grape ripening.
Composed mainly of Biancolella with a small percentage of Forastera, this wine is produced through gentle pressing and cold clarification, followed by slow and controlled fermentation. This process preserves the full varietal identity of the grapes.
In the glass, it shows a straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it reveals typical aromas of the native grapes, with notes of green apple and aromatic spices. The taste is dry, long and pleasantly saline, making it ideal both as an aperitif and paired with fish dishes or delicate white meats.
